The use of light surfaces to the walls, floor and ceiling provide a bright and airy experience with the lighting adding accents to the architecture in specific areas.
The integration of lighting as part of the Stephen Hennessy Art and Design installation in the centre of the foyer becomes the main feature, with centrally located luminaires casting light out across the cuneiform shapes and using interreflection to create a lighting experience that changes as you walk under the installation. Beyond this the subtle halo lighting to the timber clad lift cores engenders a warmth that is then contrasted nicely against the cool of the lighting slots in the lift joinery.
